Love Sandwich Program

Designed to support families with hospitalized children, the Love Sandwich Program provides lunches to the pediatric floor of the hospital so parents can stay near their children and not worry about the cost of another meal. Our amazing volunteers lift the spirits of pediatric families by providing these complimentary lunches once a week.

The Love Sandwich Program is looking for volunteers who can offer time and resources as they help alleviate the anxiety that families face during this challenging time. There are several ways you can volunteer.

Involvement/Donation Opportunities:

• Meal Cost Donation: Donate to cover the cost of the meals (we are able to produce 80 lunches for about $200)

• Shop Donation: Based on RMH recommendations, shop for the various components of lunch and then bring them to the house on Thursday.

• Gift of Time: Give your time on a Friday morning to prepare lunches for families.

• Full Sandwich Program: Put a small team together and purchase the food on Thursday, arrive at 8:00am Friday morning at the House and assemble all of the meals for lunch.
