2024 JACKFEST
JackFest is inspired by brave kids that have battled cancer. It is named after 7-year old Charlottesville native Jack Callahan, who overcame metastatic
cancer after enduring a 13- month course of intensive treatments in 2019 and 2020. After beginning treatment at UVA Children’s Hospital, the
severity of his disease required his family to relocate to Philadelphia to access more specialized treatment. Jack and his family lived in the Ronald
McDonald House of Philadelphia during that time.
JackFest is raising funds to support services at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville and UVA Children’s Hospital, that will allow
more kids like Jack to stay close to home for treatment.
Join us this year at Fox Field on Sunday October 20, from 12 pm to 4 pm for food, fun, kids races, bounce houses and more.
