Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charlottesville (“RMHC-C”) offers grants on an annual basis to other non-profits seeking support for programs that enhance the health and well-being of children and their families. Grant awards typically range in size from $2,000 to $4,000 for each winner. The RMHC-C Grant making program is funded through interest and dividends earned from an endowment generously gifted to the charity in 2000 specifically for this purpose. Thus, the Grant-making program is separate from the Ronald McDonald House program and the dollars that flow into and from it.
The Ronald McDonald House Grant Making Committee is proud to announce the opening of a brief SPRING application window. Grant requests may be submitted through April 1, 2013. If time - and annual earnings permit – the Committee will open another application window in the late summer/fall.
