Sad news to report. This House – and all of the RMHouses around the world – lost a good friend this weekend. Kim Hill passed away in California after her decades long battle with cancer. Kim was the inspiration behind the creation of the very first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia in 1974. The organization has grown immensely since then in an attempt to match the need to support sick children and their families. Today, over 11,000 rooms are available each night in over 30 countries around the world to help in this mission….all because of a little girl and her dedicated parents and their commitment to help others.
