Meal donations are a very important part of the House. A warm meal means a great deal to families unable to go home or provide for themselves during a stressful period. Whether once a week or once a month (or even just as a onetime donation) any contributions are greatly appreciated.
We request that volunteers make enough food to feed 20-25 people. The menu is completely up to the volunteer! Staff members are happy to handle the preparation and set up of the provided food OR volunteers are welcome to come and prepare the meal in our kitchen. The goal is to have a dinner available at 6pm every evening for the families staying here. This is an excellent volunteer opportunity for individuals, families, churches, or businesses!
Our goal is to fill stomachs, and warm hearts, with a donated dinner, 365 days of the year.

- Plan a menu (home cooked or store bought) for 20-25 people. (Simple, comfort foods go over well.) ***If you plan to bring a salad please do not worry about purchasing salad dressing. We have plenty here!
- Deliver the meal to the House on the day you select or prepare the meal in our kitchen. (We can do the warm-up and clean up. We also provide the paper goods, but really welcome additional donated paper napkins, paper plates, paper cups, paper towels and plastic utensils.)
