Donate Your Used Electronic Device
Did you get a new cellphone, laptop, tablet, or some other electronic device for Christmas?
What did you do with your old device?
Often when we get new technology, the old technology just lays around the house or office, collecting dust and rarely used again.
Does this situation sound familiar?
The CauseNetwork has a new program where you can donate your used electronic devices to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charlottesville. This allows us to help more families stay together who have sick children in the hospital.
The used devices that you can donate are:
- Cell phones
- iPods & iPads
- GPS units
- Cameras & Camcorders
- Computers & laptops
- Computer components
- Videogame systems & games
- Binoculars & Telescopes
- DVR & DVDs
- many other electronic devices & more!
All personal data on your devices will be erased using state-of-the-art technology and you’ll receive a tax-deductible receipt once your device is resold. You can also donate a wide variety of older devices and every donation benefits the Ronald McDonald House.
The Ronald McDonald House will receive on average 42.5% of the resale value of your device.
Here is how to donate your used technology.
- Tell us what you want to donate
- Print the pre-paid shipping label
- And then send in your devices
- You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for 100% of the eventual resale value of your donation from CauseNetwork Foundation.
